Broken Bonds

Driven to keep a promise to a man who would rather see her dead than alive, Becca Martin is forced to delve deeper into her past and that of her ancestors to find the answers she seeks. Still raw from the death of her mother, Becca embarks on an emotional journey, bringing her closer to two very different men for two very different reasons.

Frank Jakes, who saved Becca from the wrath of Antony Cardover, is now the closest thing Becca has to family. Incensed and concerned by her bloody-mindedness, Jakes introduces Ellie Lawrence, a young woman with dark secrets of her own, into Becca’s life. Ignoring Jakes’ advice, Becca takes her life into her own hands in her pursuit of a cure. She would have died if not for Ellie’s extraordinary speed and strength.

Antony Cardover, now subdued and compliant, has no choice but to help Becca in her search for a way to break his curse.

This quest, much to Becca’s shock, brings them closer together as well as closer to the person who has caused so much pain and anguish in so many peoples’ lives – Ebenezer Lightwoller.

It is here, at the mercy of Ebenezer, that Becca has to make the biggest decision of her life; a decision that begs the question of whether some promises are just meant to be broken?

Fantastic Book: Would Thoroughly Recommend

Brilliant book. Way better than Twilight. Couldn’t recommend more highly and is certainly deserving of a read.

Brilliant Book Two

Absolutely loved this book from start to finish. Can’t wait for the next installment. This book took me longer than expected due to work and family commitments, but every time I revisited it I always found it really easy to get back into it. Mainly due to the fantastic storyline and the amazing characters.

Great Holiday Read!!!

I’m very glad I have read both Bonds and its sequel on holiday, so I could completely immerse into the story and would not have to stop to do anything else! After finishing Bonds I was just very curious and reading Broken Bonds was a no brainer! After finishing Broken Bonds, I was still curious and very annoyed, because I could not accept such an ending…the next book is not available yet…and I just don’t want to say goodbye to those guys…

Some new exciting characters in it and some unexpected black humour.

This book is even more exciting than Bonds, as the saga moves on to a higher level. A very intense and totally consuming read. Hope she has more books on the way!
